Sept. 15: First Council Meeting of last year's FHN Catholic School Council, 7-9 p.m., open to all FHN parents and guardians
Sept. 16: First Mass of the Year: 10:15, Father Robert Reddy, FHN Gym
Sept. 17: Picture Day JK/SK and 1-4
Sept. 18: Picture Day: 5-8 and staff (*Nov. 4 is Retake Day and JK/SK "A" Day only)
Sept. 21: Safety Awareness Week starts ... Fire and other Safety Drills practised at school
Sept. 20: Cross Country Practice begins at noon hours: Teachers work with students at the noon hour recesses -- dress appropriately
Sept. 23: Volunteer Orientation in the library, 9 a.m.
Sept. 24 : Curriculum Night and "Meet 'n Greet" BBQ. BBQ runs from 5 pm until 7 pm. Teachers will meet parents in classrooms from 6-6:45 and 6:45-7:30
Sept. 29 : Bus Evacuation, all grades

October 5: Thanksgiving Food Drive begins ... canned and packaged foods for food bank ... Oct 5-16
October 5: First 09/10 Catholic School Council Meeting 6:30-8:00 pm, parents and guardians welcome (1st Monday of each month)
October 7: Final Day for Pizza orders for 1st half of the year
October 8: 09/10 Catholic School Council Commissioning Mass, 7 pm, SMI Church ... You are welcome and invited to attend!
October 12: Thanksgiving Holiday (no school today)
October 13: Parent Meeting for 1st Communion, SMI Church Hall, 7pm
October 14: October Mass at FHN, 10:20 a.m., with SMI Pastor Father Robert Reddy, in the gym, all welcome
