School Council's Mandate
Father Henri Nouwen Catholic School Council's mandate is to assist the school in developing positive communication links with home, church and the broader community and to assist the school in realizing its goals and mission, as well as the Board’s mission.
As do all Ontario School Councils, Father Henri Nouwen's Council must follow requirements set out by the Ministry of Education, in accordance with policy and procedures established by the York Catholic District School Board.
Catholic School Councils are advisory bodies. The council provides advice to the school principal and council members maintain a school-wide focus on all issues.
Who is on School Council?
