We offer an Excellent Start
Parents choose our Catholic schools because they want an excellent academic program that is enhanced by the spiritual Christian values they cherish. These values, based on the teachings of Christ, are an integral part of our curriculum. Gospel values, religious education and family life studies form an important part of our curriculum.

As your child begins kindergarten, he or she is entering a world full of new cha5252006_94305_0.jpgllenges and possibilities for learning. It is important that the two worlds of home and school cooperate to make this new beginning a secure and positive experience.

Success Begins at Home
You and the teacher will work together and watch your child develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and academically.

Success at school begins at home. You are your child's first teacher. From the beginning of your child's life, you teach your child about love, trust and her or his own goodness. You are laying the foundation for all learning.

How is Catholic Kindergarten Different?
It is our sacred responsibility to welcome Kindergarten children into our Catholic community of learners by:

q Having priests visit the school to participate in liturgical celebrations
q Integrating religious education throughout the curriculum using the religion program In God's Image and age-appropriate materials that reflect Catholic values
q Providing a framework which encourages ongoing communication among home, school and parish
q Encouraging Kindergarten children's attendance at school Masses and prayer celebrations
q Having Kindergarten children learn age-appropriate Catholic hymns, prayers and Liturgical responses, to facilitate  their participation in school liturgies
q Teaching Catholic values through gospel stories about Jesus
q Teaching positive interactions with peers
q Teaching how to forgive and be forgiven
