Late For School
From time to time, your child may be late for school and we understand that completely.
Frequent or consistent lateness, however, is a problem. It interferes with effective class and school procedures and, of course, it does nothing for student academic progress.
Father Henri Nouwen's first bell rings at 8:30. There is yard supervision from 8:15.
Please be aware that students who are consistently late may have their names referred to a York Catholic District School Board Attendance Counsellor.
If your child will be absent for all or part of the day, please call the school at 905-884-8086.
